Depending on the travel policy set by your company, you will see the policy mention next to each search result.

In-policy means the flight or hotel result is within the travel policy that is set by the travel manager in your company.

Such as:

  • Number of days in advance employees must book their flights
  • Highest Cabin Class allowed
  • Set maximum price per booking

Out-of-policy means the flight or hotel search result is not within the travel policy that is set by the travel manager in your company.

Also, depending on which approval flow your manager has put in place, your trip will either be approved right away or will be submitted for approval.

If you want to learn more, under the filter section on the search results page, you can click on 'What is policy?' to see the details of your company's travel policy.
